The author: Franklin Adjetey, is an outstanding educationist, motivational speaker, Curriculum designer, “Edupreneur,” teacher and mentor with many years of experience as a teacher and School Principal in Ghana, Nigeria and United Kingdom.
He is also the founder and CEO of the Project Know ThySelf; an International Organization in Ghana, Nigeria and The United Kingdom. Franklin enjoys reading to empower people especially the youth, so they can discover their strengths and build on it to achieve their highest potential. His passion and calling for education reflect clearly in his selfless dedication to training teachers and supporting school owners.
Franklin believes education is meant to solve societal issues and as a result, charge all educationist to play their role to make the world a better place. He is currently the principal of British International School (Early Years, Primary and Secondary), East Legon Hills, Ghana. He previously served as Teacher, Mathematics Coordinator, Teacher Trainer, National Union of Teachers Representative, Senior Manager and Deep Learning Coordinator, Advocate for Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning and Maths Makes Sense at Harris Primary Academy, Peckham Park, United Kingdom, from 2000 to 2012.
He also served as Principal of FAMAKS British Schools, Kaduna and Abuja Nigeria (2012 to 2014), Principal at Oakland British School Abuja (2014 to 2016), Intervention Teacher, The Crescent Primary, United Kingdom and Class Teacher at Stockwell Primary School, United Kingdom (2017 to 2018).
