Sometime in 2015, she jointly set up a Law Firm called Lex Praxis Incorporated with other partners to undertake legal services for clients across the country. Nana Akua was the head of litigation of the firm for three years during which period she assisted clients to resolve commercial disputes, family disputes, land disputes, labour and industrial issues and other related disputes.
She later founded Vox Legalis, a law firm based in Accra in 2018 and has since seen enormous growth in her clientele over the period. The firm currently provides legal advisory services to its clients and offers other legal services such as resolving commercial disputes, undertaking commercial transactions, due diligence on various transactions including land acquisitions, insurance claims, resolution of disputes such as land matters, family matters, Estate (probate and Letters of Administration), debt recovery, labour, landlord tenancy as well as drafting and reviewing of commercial agreements and other forms of Agreements.

Nana Akua has a degree in Law and a Qualifying Certificate from Ghana School law. She volunteered as an intern for FIDA as a mediator from 2010 to 2012 in Kumasi. She was nominated as a participant to show case her professional career at an International Women’s Programme in 2019 organised by the First Lady of Ghana.
